The 711 grips have the ideal grip ergonomics for long-distance and racing use on sport-orientated mountain bikes. A well thought-out, ergonomic shape provides a particularly secure and comfortable grip. The clamping was placed from the outside to the inside during product development. This is intended to increase cushioning and comfort on the outside of the hand.
In addition, the outer contact surface has been enlarged so that the comfort is at the level of a wing handle, even though it is not. As round as necessary and as flat as possible: The outer contact surface of the 711 is flat, which reduces pressure peaks. In addition, the Ergobar supports grip safety: A flat, slightly angular underside of the grip provides an excellent form fit with your hand.
The advantages of the grip are particularly noticeable at the end of a tough marathon. But they also increase the fun on long tours or crisp after-work rides.

SQlab Grip Width
The optimum fit for a bicycle grip is crucial for comfort and grip safety. The grip width is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb. This is exactly what you use to enclose the handle. The grip sizes differ in diameter, length and shape.
