Ambitious gravel biking demands a lot from your bike! The SRAM RED XPLR AXS™ rear derailleur with a whopping 13 gears is up to any challenge. Whether flying stones and sticks, potholes and roots or simply unavoidable knocks and bumps in your luggage at the airport and on the train. The full mount attachment method on UDH-compatible frames, tried and tested in the mountain bike sector, creates a strong connection on both sides of the frame. The geometry of the RED XPLR AXS™ rear derailleur is based on the basic constant of the wheel axle itself and thus ensures an extremely robust, fully integrated and wireless drivetrain based on the SRAM AXS™ system. It simplifies installation and handling and sets new standards in durability. The robust rear derailleur does not require a derailleur hanger or adjustment bolts, and thanks to precisely coordinated components and electronically controlled shifting points, it allows for perfect gear changes at all times! The RED XPLR AXS™ 13-speed rear derailleur features a carbon cage, an MTB-inspired Spring-Clutch for the best possible impact protection and the so-called Magic Wheel, a lower pulley wheel that keeps spinning even if an object gets stuck in its struts. The RED XPLR rear derailleur features the same intuitive pairing and set-up procedure as all other AXS™ rear derailleurs. ATTENTION! The prerequisite for mounting the rear derailleur is a UDH*-compatible frame! (*Universal Derailleur Hanger) The installation itself is relatively simple and reduced to the essentials.
