SKS GERMANY Edge AL Mudguard Set With Struts

The SKS Edge AL mudguard set comes with extra-long aluminium profiles and a clean, minimalist look. The mudguards blend almost invisibly into the 28-inch tyres of city and hybrid bikes. Thanks to the flexible insertion into the plastic holders, the U-strut can be variably adjusted in length on both sides so that an even distance to the tyre can be achieved. In this way, the long, angular profile of the matt black mudguards reliably shields the frame and clothing from dirt and wetness. Despite being mounted at only two or three attachment points, the mudguards are very stable and remain reliably in position.

On the front mudguard, the struts are attached with the ESA VARIO strut mount. The high rigidity of the aluminium profiles ensures that the mudguards remain dimensionally stable even if blocked by branches. This prevents the mudguard from rolling up towards the tyre and getting jammed between the fork crown and the tyre.

The attachment using the bracket, slide bridge and clip for the strut mounting is quickly completed with the included mounting material. An additional connection to the luggage rack is not necessary, resulting in a discreet look, especially on bikes without a luggage rack.

Tip:
You can use the SKS mounting clamps to attach the U-struts to rigid forks or suspension forks without eyelets (prod. code 2264885).

Note:
When mounting on bikes with disc brakes, spacers may need to be fitted between the fork/frame and the strut mount.
