The ORTLIEB QUICK-RACK bicycle rear rack can be installed and removed from your bike in a flash. In size XL, it is compatible with a tyre width of up to 2,6 inches (when mounted with the optionally available adapter thru axle) or even 3 inches (when mounted directly using the M5/M6 thread) and can carry loads of up to 26 kg. The quick release function allows you to attach and remove the clever luggage rack in seconds.
You have two options for mounting on the bike in the first step: You can either attach the Quick Rack with the THRU AXLE M6-CONNECTOR plug-in adapter axle (optionally available under prod. code: prod. code: 2351000) in the axle, or you can mount it directly on the frame in the luggage carrier thread (M5/M6). In a second step, the carrier is secured to the seat tube or seat post via the upper fixation strut with a sturdy mounting rubber. The Ortlieb QUICK-RACK luggage rack is ready for use! It is compatible with all Quick Lock system bags from ORTLIEB (QL1/2.1/2.2/3/3.1/Top-Lock) and can carry loads of up to 26 kg.
To remove the rear rack, simply loosen the fixation on the seat tube and undo the two locking levers on the contact points. That’s it! The two support points on the eyelets remain on your bicycle.

ATTENTION:
The luggage rack is NOT suitable for mounting and using child bike seats and for attaching bicycle trailers!
Note:
• For direct installation, it is essential that there are two mounting points with a metric 5mm or 6mm thread on the frame!
• If your frame does not have these mounting points, you can install the rack using the optional ORTLIEB QUICK RACK SEAT STAY ADAPTER set (prod. code: 2321534, NOT suitable for carbon frames!).
• The THRU-AXLE M6-CONNECTOR adapter thru axle (prod. code: 2351000), is required when mounting via the thru axle.
