Highlights & Technologies:
MERINO WOOL:
Compared to traditional wool, Merino offers a particularly fine fibre. Because of the extreme weather conditions merino sheep are exposed to in nature, the wool has strong thermoregulation properties and is capable of wicking moisture away from the body particularly fast. Thus, it creates a warm protective layer for the entire body, even when wet. In contrast to traditional wool, merino wool is not scratchy even when wet. Thus, merino is perfect as a next-to-skin layer. Yet, merino wool is also ideal for warm summer days since its high breathability has a cooling effect. Thanks to its inherent sun protection factor, high comfort, fire resistance and natural odour-inhibiting properties, merino wool is a very popular fibre.
MULBERRY SILK:
Mulberry silk is a particularly high-quality and valuable natural silk that is obtained from the cocoons of the Bombyx Mori silkworm caterpillar. The silk owes its name to the mulberry leaves, which are consumed by the caterpillars as their only food source. The silk impresses with its exceptional softness, beautiful lustre and high durability. For this reason, it is often used for high-quality products such as bed linen, nightwear or clothing.
