Continental Grand Prix TR Road Bike Tyre Tubeless Ready

The Grand Prix TR from Continental is the affordable entry into the world of performance road tyres with tubeless ready technology.
 
Based on the legendary Grand Prix 5000 family, this tyre also features the proven, high-performance BlackChili compound, which combines low rolling resistance with high grip reserves. In addition, a four-layer carcass ensures a great balance between puncture protection, rolling resistance and weight.
 
Thanks to Tubeless Ready technology, you can also ride the Grand Prix TR without a tube and with less air pressure to fully enjoy the tyre's comfort capabilities – without running the risk of getting a snakebite flat.

The user-friendly tubeless-ready system of the Grand Prix TR is specially designed for road cycling, easy to install and reliable. A revised bead reliably seals the tyre and provides a good fit on both hooked and hookless rims.
For the first installation, Continental recommends to use at least 30 ml of Conti RevoSealant (prod. code: 2255637) per tyre. Rotate the tyre or wheel afterwards to distribute the sealant all around. Then inflate the tyre to the maximum recommended pressure. You should check the pressure at regular intervals as well as before your first ride and inflate the tyre if necessary.
 
• BlackChili Compound
High grip and low rolling resistance are mutually exclusive. Combining both always requires a compromise. The Grand Prix TR uses the well-known Black Chilli Compound. This promises an optimally balanced ratio of stiffness and stability for a tyre with optimised rolling resistance that is also soft enough to offer maximum grip.
