With the next version of the Rubino, Vittoria continues the success story of what is probably its most versatile road bike tyre. The revised Rubino V comes with a fresh tread design, new rubber compound and a revised structure. As a result, the popular training and touring tyre retains its basic properties and can also score points with improved rolling resistance and adhesion on wet surface.
This is made possible by the combination of graphene and silica compounds, similar to the race-orientated Corsa series. In contrast to its predecessor, a stronger nylon casing is also used, which, in addition to the puncture protection belt, now also has a reinforced contact area with the rim.
The Rubino is available in tube type and TLR versions for tubeless systems. If you always ride with a tube during training, you can save some budget and a few extra grams of weight with this tube-type version of the Rubino. With both versions, you’ll get a tyre with high mileage and puncture protection that still runs smoothly and offers impressive grip in all conditions.
