SHIMANO GE900HS MTB Shoes

"HS" stands for "Hot Seat": If your place is on the podium, then the GE900HS MTB shoes from SHIMANO are your assets on the way there. For riders who bring a lot of power onto the pedals, these bike shoes are equipped with the aggressive, stiff FORCE CONTROL midsole. This SHIMANO technology offers both excellent stability and bike control. The EVA foam in the midsole provides the necessary shock absorption on demanding trails without sapping too much energy.

Moreover, SHIMANO has found additional potential for optimisation in the closure of the GE9 HS cycling shoes. They have installed the slim BOA Li2F dial, combined with a narrow Velcro fastener which can be closed even more easily. The slightly narrower cut (compared to the GE9) ensures a sporty fit and a snug fit in the shoe on fast descents.

BOA Li2:
The new, groundbreaking Li2 dial from BOA gives the L-SERIES a slim, flat design, unprecedented resilience and improved sustainability. With its precise adjustability in both directions, the Li2 is the optimal solution for a fast, easy, precise fit.

FORCE CONTROL:
This sole improves balance and control. Being integrated into the midsole, it allows for a comfortable level of lateral movement. In the second version, the torsional material extends over the entire midsole and thus offers good bike control. What’s more, the material offers an aggressive, downhill-capable stiffness for more stability.

ULTREAD GE:
Lightweight rubber outer sole with optimal tread for fast-paced enduro action. Traction and stability when walking and pedalling are the focus of this outer sole, so shoes with this sole are ideal for MTB and bikepacking tours. The great traction is made possible by the wide forefoot, the lightweight rubber compound and the contoured toe profile.
