Trusty gravel shifting groupset with road-oriented drivetrain

The reliable GRX RX400 groupset is Shimano's entry into the world of gravel riding. It is equipped with reliable and proven technologies. On this gravel bike you will find a 2-speed drivetrain consisting of an 11-34 cassette and a 46-30 chainring. So you have 2x10 gears at your disposal – perfect for endurance-oriented tours.

Wide wheels and gravel tyres

This bike has robust, lightweight ROSE G25 gravel wheels, equipped with high-quality Newman hubs and lightweight, stable Sapim spokes. With their wider inner rim width of 25 mm, they increase the contact area of the Continental gravel tyre and thus provide more grip on rough terrain. Its fast tread pattern turns the Terra Speed tyre into a smooth-running specialist for gravel and asphalt roads.

Category 2

This category applies to bicycles and e-bikes* that meet the conditions of category 1 and are ridden on normal roads as well as in category 2 on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate inclines and descents. The tyres are in constant contact with the ground at average speed and they are only occasionally ridden over steps and drops of less than 15 cm. These conditions can lead to contact with uneven terrain and the tyre repeatedly losing contact with the ground. The intended use is, for example, recreational riding. You don’t require any special riding skills.
