The Cateye light bracket allows you to quickly and easily mount your bicycle light onto a fork. A welcome alternative when cables or handlebar bag would disturb the light beam or when there is not enough space for a light on the handlebar.

Details:
• For mounting a front light to a fork crown of rigid forks with drill holes or suspension forks with drill holes in the booster (Please note the manufacturer's specifications).
• Flexible angle adjustment

Grundsätzlich erfreulich, dass es den Adapter gibt, wodurch ich Platz für eine Lenkertasche habe. Je nach Bremse (bei mir Cantilever) und Verlauf der Bremszüge muss man den Winkel des Bügels jedoch ggf. im Schraubstock anpassen.

Tut was es soll. Ich fürchte nur, dass ich das Teil irgendwann verliere. Da der Bügel an der Befestigungsstelle nach oben offen ist, kann er bei einer Lockerung der Schraube abfallen. Ist mir zugegebenermaßen noch nicht passiert.

Stabiler Halter der mit entsprechendem Werkzeug in die notwendige Form gebogen werden kann ohne zu brechen.

Stabiles Produkt. Der Metallbügel ist fast in einem rechten Winkel abgeknickt, er kann dadurch z. B. mit bestimmten V-Brakes in Konflikt kommen. Entweder biegt man den Bügel nach oben, hat dann aber weniger Platz für die Cateye-Lampe, oder man nimmt einen anderen handelsüblichen Befestigungsbügel. Ich habe mich für letztere Variante entschieden.
