Cane Creek’s durable elastomers are installed into the parallel linkage system of the Thudbuster LT G4 seatpost (4th generation). There are different firmess ratings that can be used to adjust suspension and comfort to the rider’s weight. If you are in between two spring rates you should choose the elastomer that best suits your needs and preferences. The markings on the elastomers show you the firmness rating. This elastomer is swapped in seconds – no tools needed.
Simply press the golden release button on the back of the seat post so you can tilt it forwards. Now twist the elastomer so that the wings of the elastomer stick out of the pivot arms. While the pivot mechanism is loose, remove the elastomer. When installing a new elastomer into the post perform the removal process in reverse and make sure it is oriented correctly (bottom/top) and the golden release button engages to lock the arms.
