LINIENTREU precision laser tool

After transport, repair works or a fall, rear derailleurs can be out of line, so that a precise alignment with the LINIENTREU tool is required. An improperly adjusted rear derailleur is not only annoying, but it is also bad for the material. Under load, the chain jumps to the next sprocket with a creaking noise, slips without control or skips between sprocket and frame. If the pulley wheels are not perfectly in line with the gears, the Tune tool will allow for precise limit adjustments with a flick of the wrist. The LINIENTREU tool is simply plugged into the tool mount of the rear mech's screw to make sure the laser can show the position of the limit screws for precise alignment.
