VAUDE MOAB PRO MID STX II Winter MTB Shoes

While the best trails are far too crowded in summer, you can pedal freely there in winter. The MOAB PRO MID STX II winter MTB shoes from VAUDE give you good grip and warm feet.

These bike shoes are the ideal choice for cold off-road days. The warm PRIMALOFT GOLD lining and the high, sock-like neoprene shaft provide thermal insulation and comfort, while the waterproof SYMPATEX membrane keeps dirt and moisture away from your feet. The tried-and-tested BOA dial provides fine-tuning in terms of fit. This means you can adjust the shoes to fit perfectly even when wearing gloves. Last but not least, these winter shoes are also experts in grip: The soft rubber sole gives you grip on the pedals and, thanks to the light tread, also on the ground if you have to push your bike.

Highlights & Technologies:

BOA L6:
A closure system consisting of dials and stainless steel wires that allow for precise adjustments. This combination allows cyclists to even adjust the shoes while riding. As there are no Velcro straps, the front part of the shoe is well-ventilated. The shoes can be closed by pushing and turning the dials in the direction of travel. The laces loosen by pulling the dial.

PRIMALOFT GOLD:
This insulation offers a high level of comfort, is robust and designed for long-lasting repetitive compressibility and longevity.
PRIMALOFT GOLD ECO is equipped with 3D stabilisation, which retains heat thanks to its unrivalled ability to retain its fill power. It’s all about staying dry, yet the insulation will even keep you warm when wet. The Gold Insulation combines a permanently water-repellent finish with a high-density structure. It also features excellent moisture management and dries fast.

SYMPATEX:
The hydrophilic, non-porous membrane is waterproof (>45,000 mm waterproof rating), windproof and highly breathable at the same time. This functional membrane is also windproof and particularly robust thanks to the absence of pores.

VAUDE AM SOHLE shoe sole:
The dynamic tread pattern provides a larger contact area and good abrasion resistance. The bolt-on cover of the cleat system allows you to either ride with or without cleats. A nylon reinforcement ensures best power transfer to the pedal. The sole is convex for easy walking. Besides, it offers high shock absorption on midfoot and instep.

FLOW INDEX 6:
Different activities and terrains place different requirement on the sole in terms of its strength. V-Flow combines the shoes' cuff materials, fit and stability and provides an overview based on the V-Flow index to help you find out your personal preferences regarding intended use and comfort. The FLOW INDEX 6 offers a perfect fit and best protection, as well as maximum power transfer. Thus, it is perfect for riding on solid, natural grounds or hardened gravel paths, as well as on loose ground and rocky trails in Alpine terrain.

Note:
The reflective design elements attached to the clothing as decoration do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425. Thus, they are also not covered by the provisions of the regulation.
