The AM MOAB MID WINTER STX flat pedal cycling shoes by VAUDE combine comfort with best functionality. The precisely adjustable BOA L6 dial allows for quick adjustments even while riding. Highlights & Technologies:

SYMPATEX:
The hydrophilic, non-porous membrane is waterproof (>45,000 mm waterproof rating), windproof and highly breathable at the same time.

PRIMALOFT:
As an ultra-fine microfibre insulation material, PRIMALOFT is ideal for cold-weather and all-season clothing. The fibres are also incredibly soft, lightweight and highly compressible for a small pack size. PRIMALOFT is wind-resistant, breathable and offers excellent water-repellent properties. Once it is wet, it dries extremely fast. However, even when wet, PRIMALOFT retains its insulating properties and thus ensures a comfortable, dry and warm feeling in almost any kind of weather. 
PRIMALOFT quality grades range from Premium to Basic, available in Gold, Silver and Black variants, as well as in various other functional variants.

CORDURA:
Polyamide fibres guarantee high robustness and abrasion resistance. A brushed surface gives the material a pleasant grip. The fabric is fast-drying and extremely hard-wearing.

VAUDE AM FLAT:
The proven VAUDE AM FLAT sole takes your biking experience to a new level. The deeper tread in the toe and heel area offers ideal grip in sections where you have to carry or push your bike and, in combination with the soft SUPtraction Flat rubber compound, the sole ensures perfect grip on the pedals and lots of riding enjoyment. The hexagonal tread at the midfoot works like fish scales that wedge into the ground when walking for excellent traction even in challenging sections. The lightweight EVA midsole with a shock-absorbing heel element ensures good comfort, even on rough terrain.

FLOW INDEX 3:
Different activities and terrains place different requirement on the sole in terms of its strength. V-Flow combines the shoes' cuff materials, fit and stability and provides an overview based on the V-Flow index to help you find out your personal preferences regarding intended use and comfort. The FLOW INDEX 3 offers comfort and flexibility, a protective cuff, good climbing qualities and perfect grip on flat pedals. Thus, it is perfect for demanding and technical singletracks in blocked terrain with roots, rocks and carrying sections.

SUPTRACTION:
High-grip rubber compound for a modern tread that offers high traction on dry and wet conditions.

BOA L6:
A closure system consisting of dials and stainless steel wires that allow for precise adjustments. This combination allows cyclists to even adjust the shoes while riding. As there are no Velcro straps, the front part of the shoe is well-ventilated. The shoes can be closed by pushing and turning the dials in the direction of travel. The laces loosen by pulling the dial.
