After the last three Peak models, Suunto has chosen a larger 49 mm housing for the Vertical in order to bring out the best of the map material on the 1.4" touch display. Additional operating buttons facilitate control in demanding situations. The fibreglass reinforced housing with stainless steel bezel and sapphire glass display is tested to military standards and won't let you down, even during tough use. In addition to the typical Nordic aesthetics, Suunto also implements a sustainable design concept: The Vertical is manufactured in Finland using 100 per cent renewable energy. It is 100 per cent CO2 compensated through reforestation projects.

With more than 90 customisable sport modes, 24/7 heart rate, fitness and sleep tracking as well as extensive training and analysis functions, the Suunto Vertical also presents itself as a true multisport watch. In addition to the Suunto App for smartphones, over 50 Suunto Plus Apps and more than 200 partner apps offer additional customisation options. Suunto Vertical's intuitive maps tell you everything you need to know about the terrain. Contour lines, waters, paths and other important landmarks are available in three different map styles. The free maps can be downloaded on the watch via the Suunto smartphone app and used together with the navigation functions such as turn-by-turn routing in offline mode.

STAY SAFE IN CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENTS
With Multi GNSS reception and dual-band technology, Suunto Vertical provides precise location information even in urban canyons or mountain valleys.
