SQlab 621 M-D active 2.1 City/Urban Saddle

The 621 M-D active from SQlab was specially developed for cyclists who want to sit in an upright to slightly bent position on their bike and enjoy a high level of comfort. Compared to the Ergolux version, this saddle provides even greater relief for the sensitive perineal area.

This is the result of the strong step saddle concept, which is visible at first glance: the difference in height between the rear and front of the saddle. It enables a balanced pressure distribution between the sit bones and perineal area. This can noticeably relieve the sensitive perineal area in men and the usually lower pubic arch in women.

What’s more, the ergonomics experts at SQlab have equipped the saddle with the further developed active technology in version 2.1. It allows the pelvis to move sideways during the ride, which can reduce the strain on the lower spine, pelvis and hips. In this way, the intervertebral discs and facet joints are relieved, too. With the 621 M-D, you can also adjust the degree of movement of the active technology in two settings to suit your personal preference.

The comfort features are complemented by a soft padding which makes it a feel-good saddle right from the start. Perfect for city and e-bikes!

SQlab saddle width system:
Choosing the right saddle width based on the individual sit bone distance ensures effective weight distribution and optimises comfort and ergonomics. This helps to avoid problems such as numbness, ischial pain, tailbone pain and pressure on the pubic arch.
