SHIMANO TL-BR001 / TL-BR002 / TL-BR003 Professional Disc Brake Bleed Kit

The SHIMANO disc brake bleed kit contains everything you need to fill SHIMANO disc brakes on road bikes and mountain bikes with mineral oil and to remove air bubbles from them.
This is a quick and easy job with the combination of SHIMANO components TL-BR001 / TL-BR002 / TL-BR003 and the spacers for all common SHIMANO brake calipers. The fitting spacer is installed between the brake caliper pistons when bleeding your disc brakes with dismantled brake pads.

When filling and bleeding SHIMANO road and MTB disc brake systems, the screw-on attachment serves as a filling and expansion reservoir for the filled mineral oil. The oil stopper can be hooked into the funnel ring when open and plugs the fill opening with its seal after use to ensure for clean working.

After use, the funnel can be placed on the base to prevent it from tipping over. The filling syringe for mineral oil comes with an unscrewable transparent hose. The hose ensures an airtight connection between the syringe and the bleed boss on the brake caliper and can be closed with the clip to prevent leakage.

Mineral oil for filling the brakes is NOT included in the set. SHIMANO SM-DB-OIL mineral oil can be found with prod. code 553315.

Tip:
A replacement SHIMANO filling and bleeding syringe can be found with prod. code 2316825. The M5 oil funnel for SHIMANO BL-MTB/hybrid brake levers is available with prod. code 2316827, an M7 replacement funnel for SHIMANO ST shift/brake levers on road bikes can be found with prod. code 2316826.
