SHIMANO DEORE XT RD-M8200-GS SHADOW ES 12-speed rear derailleur (medium cage)

Whether it’s local trails, enduro races or all-day rides: The SHIMANO DEORE XT RD-M8200-GS rear derailleur has been designed to ensure reliable shifting in demanding conditions. The combination of a medium GS cage and a 9–45-tooth cassette provides a gear range of 500 per cent, reduces weight and creates additional ground clearance on technical trails.

SHADOW ES technology combines a low-profile construction with a sturdy Wide-Link design. The wedge-shaped profile reduces the contact area on the trail and helps you avoid obstacles. If contact does occur, however, an integrated spring helps to absorb the impact and return the rear derailleur to its original position.

Enclosed pulley wheels and protected pulley wheel teeth reduce the ingress of dirt and gravel.
