The elegant BACKROAD EKAR 1x13 LIMITED combines a lightweight, high-end carbon design with the unique and innovative EKAR gravel groupset, redesigned by Campagnolo. What makes it so special? 1x13 mechanically shifted gears – made for dirty adventures!
The especially striking, slim design of the exclusive gravel groupset blends in perfectly with the look of the BACKROAD LIMITED and underlines the uncompromising, high-quality design DNA of this ROSE gravel bike. The ultralight, shiny carbon crank of the groupset not only looks good, but also gives the bike superb shifting performance so you can ride straight into gravel heaven.
EKAR is currently the world’s lightest gravel groupset. Reliable and powerful. Crisp and ultra-precise gear changes help you fight your way up the next incline with ease and at the same time not pedal without resistance when descending into the valley at insane speeds. Using a sprocket with 9 teeth allows for a perfect range of gears with short, precise and smooth gear changes as well as good control of your cadence in every situation – regardless of speed. In short: ‘One by’ mechanical, no front derailleur and an insane range. Shifting is done with the Ergo Power lever that is curved so you can also shift gears efficiently when in the drops and enjoy a secure grip when shifting off-road.
The cockpit of the BACKROAD Ekar 1x13 LIMITED also impresses with a clean design. Internally routed brake and gear cables give the front end even more elegance and features: outstanding stiffness values thanks to a wide handlebar clamp, a faceplate that is compatible with a Garmin mount and a stem cap with flat, flush fitting top surface round off the all-in-one ROSE Square stem.
The extremely good-looking and ultralight, shiny SHAMAL carbon wheels by Campagnolo with NW3 freewheel and three-cross lacing pattern are just the perfect choice for the high-end gravel bike. Campagnolo has given this icon a new design to make a statement in endurance cycling: a carbon rim with an inner rim width of 21 mm. At its heart though, the rim remains true to itself – as tireless as the wind, for long days on the bike. Fitted with Continental Terra Speed, it delivers good grip and top rolling characteristics.
