An optimally tensioned drive belt is smooth-running, efficient and promises a long service life. Checking the belt tension on your drive is very easy with the Gates Krikit gauge as an alternative to the Gates Eco Tension Tester.
Placed on the finger, the clever gauge shows the belt tension on the tool scale by pressing from above on the belt. Similar to the spring principle of a torque spanner, a click tells you that the value is detected and can be read. With the Gates belt tension gauge, you can check in a fast and reliable way if you are riding with the correct belt tension. It couldn't be easier.
