With the Forerunner 55, GARMIN's entry-level model from the Forerunner series has finally outgrown its infancy. Full-blown pro features support you optimally in your development and always keep pace with your performance level even as your success grows. In terms of price and user-friendliness, the GPS multisport smartwatch is still aimed at beginners and hobby athletes – but in terms of design, range of functions and endurance, the successor to the Forerunner 45 continues to catch up with its bigger siblings such as the Forerunner 245 or 745.

The heart rate measurement on the wrist, together with GPS-based pace and distance information, ensures that you can always keep an eye on your performance. With daily workout recommendations for your running training and the Garmin running coach, you get additional support. And to get even more out of yourself or even prepare for your first race, you can now use the PacePro running function to access dynamic pace presets to better manage your efforts. The also newly added runtime forecast or your VO2Max value will help you to assess your performance level.

To support you on the bike, in the gym or on a run, the Forerunner 55 mutates into a true multisport watch with over 15 preinstalled sports apps. Fitness and health functions are not neglected either: From recovery time recommendations to 24/7 breath rate recording to menstruation tracking, the FR55 knows how to score points with many new features. Optional quick-change wristbands also give you the option to customise your fitness watch. With additional smart functions and a battery life of up to 14 days in smartwatch mode, the GARMIN Forerunner 55 is so suitable for everyday use that you won't want to take it off after sports.
