ERGON TS Saddle Position Tool

If the contact points on your bike are not adapted to you, this can quickly lead to discomfort. For example, if the saddle on your road or mountain bike is set too high, numbness or pain may occur. This quickly turns the after-work ride or the extended bikepacking tour into torture. At the same time, incorrectly adjusted contact points can result in a loss of power and you will tire more quickly.

The ERGON TS Saddle Position Tool is designed to help you find your ideal saddle position.

The basis is the biomechanical reference line (BMR), which serves as a reference point for the ergonomic positioning of the saddle. The tool can be used to determine the BMR point of a saddle with a width of 75 mm and mark it directly on the saddle. This means that adjustments such as saddle height, saddle angle, seat length, rear tilt and saddle rotation can be made in a clear and reproducible way, even after a bike or saddle change.
