The Continental Terra Trail ProTection provides more safety and comfort on and off the road. In addition to the tried-and-tested BlackChili rubber compound with ProTection puncture protection, the gravel and cross tyre is optimally equipped against damage and punctures to roll over rough terrain and stony areas without hesitation. The Terra Trail has an all-round coarse tread pattern to offer much more safety on loose surfaces. Of course, Conti’s gravel tyre is also ideally equipped for tubeless use. The ProTection technology offers the perfect combination of smooth running, grip and puncture resistance. The carcass construction with all-round puncture protection is particularly resistant and insensitive to damage. Despite the additional layer, the tyre offers very good damping properties and irons out even roughest terrain.

• BlackChili Compound:
The crucial question in cycle sport. The running properties of a tyre’s rubber compound largely depend on static friction (grip), mileage and rolling resistance. The BlackChili Compound is perfectly adapted to the specific purpose. For the production of BlackChili, Continental combines synthetic rubber with proven, natural rubber to get high-performance centre tread compounds. Mixed with soot particles for optimised shape and surface properties, you get the perfect compound for your cross/gravel adventures.

TR (Tubeless-Ready):
Conti tyres with this technology can be used in combination with a tube or tubeless. The Tubeless Ready base allows for easy tyre installation and provides a perfect seal.
