PDQ AL
2 models

The PDQ AL is designed for anyone looking for a versatile mountain bike for everyday use, touring and sporty rides. It’s the perfect choice for beginners, recreational riders and anyone looking for an uncomplicated bike which is suitable for a wide range of uses.
The PDQ AL straddles two worlds. It combines the efficiency and propulsion of a cross-country bike with added comfort and safety for varied trails. This makes it suitable for a wide range of use.
Yes. The PDQ AL is particularly at home on forest paths, gravel tracks, forest roads and easy trails. The balanced geometry, MTB tyres, powerful hydraulic brakes and suspension fork ensure comfort and control on varied terrain.
Yes. Thanks to its versatile design, the PDQ AL is not only suitable for sporty rides but also for everyday use. Whether it’s a commute, after-work ride or weekend getaway – this bike is up for just about anything.
Depending on the frame size, different wheel sizes are used to ensure balanced handling for all riders. This ensures that the proportions, standover height and handling remain as consistent as possible, regardless of the rider’s height.
• Frame size XS & S: 27.5” wheels
• Frame size M, L and XL: 29” wheels
This means that smaller riders benefit from an agile and easy-to-handle bike, whilst taller riders can enjoy the advantages of the larger 29-inch wheels, such as better rolling performance and a smooth ride.
Both models are based on the same frame, share the same geometry and have been designed for the same purpose. The difference lies in the features: The PDQ AL 2 comes with a Vario seatpost. This allows you to lower the saddle whilst riding, which ensures greater freedom of movement and control on technical trails and off-road.
Apart from that, the two models differ only in a few minor details. The ride feel, character and intended use remain largely the same for both bikes.
Yes. The frame has numerous mounting points for accessories. This allows you to customise the PDQ AL to suit your needs and, for example, equip it with mudguards, luggage racks or other accessories.
The right frame size depends primarily on your body height and personal preferences. Our size guide on the product page will help you choose the right size. If you're between two sizes, a smaller frame offers greater agility, whilst a larger one provides a smoother ride.
Yes. Many components, such as tyres, the cockpit and accessories, can be customised or upgraded at a later date. This allows you to tailor the bike perfectly to your riding style and your preferred use.
Yes. The comfortable riding position, efficient geometry and versatile design make the PDQ AL the ideal companion for long tours, extended weekend trips and all-day adventures.
The PDQ AL is supplied largely pre-assembled. Before your first ride, there are just a few simple steps to complete, such as adjusting the handlebar or fitting the pedals. A step-by-step guide will help you with this.
